What about them?

The world is beautiful! And a life is in full swing everywhere. Every past moment is a history, which is kept by the museums. People with pleasure start on their journeys to find new impressions and knowledges.

On January 14, 2015 Stepan Ankudinov hold a meeting (methological studies) for museum researches. He participated in three weeks' internship in the USA. The theme for discussion was "Cultural and Natural Tourism as an economic driver". The orginizers of the internship, U.S. State Department in St. Petersburg and Yekaterinburg, U.S. Department of state afforded an opportunity to museum workers in Russia to see the tourist objects and different ways to promote them in the market of cultural services.

Stepan said,"We had seen interested and diversified expositions, had known about the basic principle of the work  of American museums with visitors and had appreciated the methods of fundraising. And every place where we had been worthy undoubtedly. The capital of the USA, Washington, had amazed by Smithsonian museums, which had been always full of visitors; South Dakota inspite of remoteness and under-populated area had been attractive for tourists because of the infrastructure; South Carolina had had the fortunate geographical location near the ocean and the rich history; Indianopolis had been the racing capital of the world. About New York... It had been difficult to say about it briefly".

The researches were looking at the photos, souvenirs and booklets attentively, asking questions to Stepan. But two hours weren't enough for this methological studies! And after "walk" in the museums in Washington and South Dakota we decided to stop and think about the things that we had known. Of course, the vivid impressions in the conditions of "Semenkovo" will suggest the new ideas for development of the Open Air Museum.
